As a child Jesse hid books inside books to prolong story time. What is story time like in your family?
My son hides his favorite books down by his feet inside his covers at night. My daughter begins every story time by making a giant pile of books and setting it down before you (lest you thought you were going to read just one). Great interview!

Story time in my house consists of 25 or so library books being read in one sitting. Lol. My 3 year old REALLY loves to be read to, and to pretend to read. A book she has recently become fond of is called, “Chicken Cheeks.” It’s a hilarious book for little ones!

Right now storytime consist of my 3 month old granddaughter, a rocking chair, and a colorful storybook, and lots of facial expressions!
Wow. Really enjoying your podcast, Nick. Storytime at my house is my granddaughter begging for another episode of the on-going saga of “John Cotton’s Money”, a mystery I started telling her bit by bit (made up bit by bit) as we go along. She loves suspense and mystery…but a good book in the hand too. She’s my virtual kid-lit laboratory! And I love it. – SevenAcreSky
