  1. Emma, I was fortunate to have attended your wonderful workshop with Andrea J. Loney at NJSCBWI. You both did SUCH a great job and imparted really invaluable information.

    I agree about the melding of entertainment and education in children’s literature, and certainly anything that conveys empathy, kindness and generosity such as the story of the slippers and the girls on the beach. I’m especially grateful to now know of Jose Marti. From what you’ve both
