  1. Catching up on your podcast this morning while I paint a couple final spreads of my first picture book coming this fall and I was so incredibly moved by this talk. I have yet to pick up Corinna’s book, not for lack of interest, but for keeping my head down and working. Believe me when I say I will be stopping by my local bookstore during school pickup this afternoon to grab a copy for myself. Thank you for sharing and letting me in on this conversation Matthew and Corinna! I’m pretty sure I made more mistakes on the current spread I am painting, simply because I was listening too intently! Ha! I finally had to pause the podcast and write down a couple wonderful quotes to pin on the wall of my tiny studio. Thanks for the inspiration and even the mistake-inducing distractions!
